Fluid Therapy

Maintenance of perfusion is essential to the normal functioning of all cells and organs. Fluid therapy is important because it helps maintain patient hydration, and is a key to tissue perfusion, especially during anesthetic procedures.

Abbott Animal Health is known for its fluid therapy products, reliable service, technical support, and representation. In 2006, we introduced TRANSIVATM, a new line of veterinary-specific products that are designed with the veterinarians in mind. The TRANSIVA product portfolio will eventually include a complete offering of IV sets, catheters, and solutions labeled and developed for the veterinary market.
